Pin-fin plate-fin, surface AP-1
Procedure Compact_HX_ND('pf_plate-fin_sAP-1', Re: f,j_H) is a non-dimensional procedure that returns the friction factor and the Colburn j factor for external flow through a pin-fin plate-fin heat exchanger with surface AP-1 given the Reynolds number. The values calculated are based on a best fit curve to experimental data. These data are from Kays and London (1984) p. 258.
