R14
The thermodynamic properties of refrigerant R14 are provided by Martin-Hou equation of state (A.I.Ch.E. Journal, 1:142, 1955). Fitted parameters are from Downing and Knight, DuPont Technical Bulletin RT-52, 1971.
The reference state is determined by setting specific enthalpy to 142.5 kJ/kg and specific entropy to 1.784 kJ/kg-K for saturated liquid at -100 C.
Transport properties are provided using correlations given in:
Yaws, Carl L., ed. Chemical Properties Handbook. New York: McGraw-Hill, 1999.
Range of applicability for transport function correlations:
Gas-phase viscosity: 145 K to 900 K
Liquid-phase viscosity: 90 K to 227.5 K
Gas-phase thermal conductivity: 145 K to 750K
Liquid-phase thermal conductivity: 90 K to 220 K
Surface tension data are provided using the information in:
Mulero, A., Cachadina, I, and Parra, M.
"Recommended Correlations for the Surface Tension of Common Fluids"
