R13

 

The thermodynamic properties of refrigerant R13 are provided by Martin-Hou equation of state (A.I.Ch.E. Journal, 1:142, 1955).  Fitted parameters are from Downing and Knight, DuPont Technical Bulletin RT-52, 1971.

 

The values of specific enthalpy and entropy are referred to 0 for saturated liquid at -40 C (F).

 

Range of applicability for transport function correlations:

Gas-phase viscosity:  220 K to 425 K

Liquid-phase viscosity: 200 K to 300 K

Gas-phase thermal conductivity: 220 K to 535 K

Liquid-phase thermal conductivity: 94 K to 270 K
