R12
The thermodynamic properties of refrigerant R12 are provided by Martin-Hou equation of state (A.I.Ch.E. Journal, 1:142, 1955). Fitted parameters are from Downing and Knight, DuPont Technical Bulletin RT-52, 1971.
The values of specific enthalpy and entropy are referred to 0 for saturated liquid at -40 C (F).
Range of applicability for transport function correlations:
Gas-phase viscosity: 250 K to 480 K
Liquid-phase viscosity: 170 K to 340 K
Gas-phase thermal conductivity: 240 K to 480 K
Liquid-phase thermal conductivity: 144 K to 344 K
Surface tension data are from Liley and Desai, "Thermophysical Properties of Refrigerants", ASHRAE, 1993, ISBN 1-1883413-10-9. The range of valid for the surface tension data is -100 C < T < 110 C.
